2018 Stop 2: Ballito Jam

We are super excited to announce a brand new site as host for our 2nd tour stop of 2018, Ballito Jam will be held at the newly established Ballito Cable Ski Park nestled in between the sugar cane fields of the popular tourist destination of Ballito in Durban.
All riders of all skill levels are welcome!
Riding Divisions: Pro, Amateur and Ladies
How to Enter:
Registration can be done on the day before the event, or before riders briefing at 9am on Saturday the 21st of April at Ballito Cable Ski Park or you can register online here.
Entry fees are R250 for The Pro Division payable in cash to The South African Wakeskate Tour Organizers (Matti Buys or Dale Nieuwstad) at official practice or on the day of the event before riders briefing, at the latest.
Entrance fees for the Amateur and Ladies Division are R150 and can be paid directly to Ballito Cable Park.
Official Practice:
Practice heats for the Pro Divisions will be held on Friday, 20th of April 2018 from 2pm-4pm.
The Main Event:
The main event will kick off on Saturday, 21st of April 2018 with riders briefing at 9am sharp then heading straight into the first heats, we are aiming to hold prize giving around 6pm. Keep an eye on our Facebook Page for the official schedule closer to the event.
There is a fully stocked bar and café on site, with freshly made to order pizza’s and ice cold beer on tap! Please note that no outside food or drink will be allowed onto the premises.
There is also a second beginners cable operating throughout the day and a kiddies play area to keep the little shredders entertained.
There are toilets and changing facilities on the property.
It’s going to be a great day out, some of the best wakeskaters in the country will be giving it their all on the water to claim top spot!
