2018 Stop 1: The Backyard Sessions

The Backyard Sessions are Back!

The First stop of The 2018 South African Wakeskate Tour will be taking place at Umtamvuna River lodge, during the annual Backyard Sessions.

All riders of all skill levels are welcome!

Riding Divisions: Pro, Amateur and Ladies

How to Enter:

Registration can be done on the day before the event at the Umtamvuna River Lodge/The Boarder Post or you can register online here.

Entry fees are R250 for The Pro Division and R150 for The Amateur and Ladies Division, payable in cash at official practice or on the day of the event before riders briefing, at the latest.

Official Practice:

Practice heats for the Pro men wakeskate division will be held on Friday, 9th of March 2018 from 12pm-2pm.

The Main Event:

The main event will kick off on Saturday, 10th of March 2018 with riders briefing at 9am sharp then heading straight into the first heats. Keep an eye on our Facebook Page for the official schedule closer to the event.

It’s going to be a great day out, some of the best wakeskaters in the country will be giving it their all on the water to claim top spot!
