2017 Stop 3: No Worries in the Quarry
There are No Worries in the Quarry bru!
The third and final stop of The 2017 South African Wakeskate Tour will be taking place at The Dirty Habits Playground in Cape Town.
All riders of all skill levels are welcome!
Riding Divisions: Pro, Amateur and Ladies
How to Enter:
Registration can be done on the day before the event at the Dirty Habits Playground or you can register online here.
Entry fees are R250 for The Pro Division and R150 for The Amateur and Ladies Division, payable in cash at official practice or on the day of the event before riders briefing, at the latest.
Official Practice:
Practice heats will be held on Friday, 21st of April 2017 from 12pm-4pm.
Practice fees are included in the Pro Division entry fees and practice slots will be allocated. Should riders in the AM and Ladies Divisions wish to practice it will be R100 on a first come first serve basis.
The Main Event:
The main event will kick off on Saturday, 22nd of April 2017 with riders briefing at 9am sharp then heading straight into the first heats, we are aiming to hold prize giving around 5pm. Keep an eye on our Facebook Page for the official schedule closer to the event.
There is an small entrance fee to the Quarry of R25 per person for spectators and day visitors, we promise it will be money well spent!
There are public toilets on the property.
Spectators are welcome to bring picnic baskets and cooler boxes as well as beach umbrellas and camper chairs as there is a limited amount of seating. Pro tip, bring a jersey for the late afternoon, it can get a little chilly when the shadow comes over the quarry.
It’s going to be a great day out, some of the best wakeskaters in the country will be giving it their all on the water to claim top spot!
